Identified, researched and produced human interest stories for daily, live magazine programme. Commissioned and edited features.

Assistant Producer, BBC Children’s Radio 2005-2008

• Go4it Studio produced weekly magazine show on BBC Radio 4, including OBs from the Isle of Man and the Free Thinking Festival in Liverpool.

• CBeebies Radio Developed and piloted new radio content for the under sixes. Wrote scripts, stories, songs, poems and sketches. Studio produced, edited and mixed complex pre-recorded programmes.

• The Big Toe Radio Show Studio produced and drove studio desk for daily, live magazine show. Recorded, edited and mixed complex features and packages. Produced and directed book readings. Content produced the website.

Also produced Big Toe Books, Little Toe and the Big Toe Clippings podcast.

Assistant Producer (bi-media), BBC Voices 2004-2005
Wrote articles for the website. Co-ordinated massive linguistic research study consisting of hundreds of audio recordings. Liaised with internal and external partners. Advised journalists on how to cover language stories on-air. Successfully pitched programme ideas to network radio.

Identified and researched stories and contributors. Wrote briefs for presenters. Edited and mixed incoming reports.
